Regulars at our library know that February is reserved for our furry friends. Two years ago we had a “Sweetest Pet” Contest and last year we had a “Sweetest Pet” Scavenger Hunt. This year, we decided to do something a little different. We’re collecting much-needed items for Small Town Shelter, Inc, a non-profit animal shelter located in Sherman. People can drop off donated items at the library, and at the end of February, we will take them to Small Town Shelter. Let’s show these future Sweet Pets some love by helping to support the people who take care of them until they find a home!
