Yes, we do accept book donations! However, that doesn’t mean we take everything. We do accept gently used hardbacks and paperbacks. We do not take books that are excessively torn, water-damaged, moldy, etc. We do not take textbooks (especially anything older than 10 years).
We do not keep every book that is donated to us, we simply do not have the space. Most of the books go to our annual Harvest Festival Book Sale (always held on Labor Day weekend), which is one of our best fundraisers. So even if what you drop off doesn’t end up in our collection, it will still help us raise money! Many thanks to all who have donated over the years.
